With a successful track record in letting Englefield Green properties from their
lettings operation in Egham, Townends has opened a dedicated lettings department in its Englefield Green office. The office has undergone
a complete refurbishment and the new operation will be headed by Hannah Richardson, Senior Lettings Manager of Townends in Egham and managed by John Putsman. Hannah comments, “The

Spicerhaart Residential Lettings has announced the acquisition of Leicester-based Just Residentials, creating one of the largest managed portfolios in Leicester. Shabir Osman, National
Acquisitons Director said, “Just Residentials is a very reputable and well established lettings business
with a great portfolio which has been transferred to our haart branch in Leicester. “The transition has gone very smoothly with both landlords and tenants kept informed every step of the way and we will continue to offer them a first class lettings and managed service.”
wiNkwoRth opeNs couNtRy house depaRtmeNt Dominic Agace, CEO of Winkworth Plc, says, “Winkworth has developed a strong network of country offices and we feel that this is the right time to establish a central hub in London offering a personalised service for those people moving out of London. This will aid the link up between our offices, and add to our proposition for sellers”. David King MRICS heads the new department. “We understand that when it comes to country homes, every case is different and the service we offer is tailored to suit. The local office will work with the London team in London to develop a bespoke marketing campaign for the property.”
Winkworth has opened a Country House department offering a specialist bespoke service for country property. The new department is based in London and will be the central hub for Winkworth’s UK and international clients wishing to purchase or sell their home in the country. Clients will benefit from the recognition of a market leading estate agency brand and access to an extensive database of buyers registered across the Winkworth network in London, UK and overseas.
Spicerhaart Residential Lettings is currently in the process of acquiring three further businesses and Mr Osman added, “We have ambitious plans to expand our business over the next few years and have several further acquisitions ear marked across the country.
Three former employees from Richards Gray have gone back to basics – delivering conveyancing information to
the legal profession in a flexible manner, tailored to meet to their exact requirements. Lee Richards, Matthew Joy and Jonathan Stebbings have formed Conveyancing Data Services (CDS), which provides the full range of search information required in residential property transactions. Lee Richards said, “The
introduction of HIPs had changed the way the property search sector worked. Search providers’ attention shifted from conveyancers to
main reason we have expanded into Englefield Green is so that we can move out into the wider areas more effectively. Our team at Egham covers Old Windsor, Windsor, Ascot, Sunningdale and Windlesham but as levels of business have increased in these regions, we felt that having a lettings operation here would be really beneficial.”
