Brazilian city means business when it comes to Christmas
just 8km to the east there is the city of Canela, with more parks including Alpen Park, whose train ride is the longest of any entertainment destination in Brazil at 2,952ft long (900m). Let's now take a look at Gramado's two key seasonal celebrations.
Easter Gramado has little over 35,000 permanent inhabitants and is known as the “Switzerland of South America” as much of the population is descendant of immigrants from Germany and Italy, who brought not only the architectural style but also the best recipes for chocolate, which visitors to the city can find in every street.
