Lights Co

Formerly trading as Neon Cuoghi, the Cuoghi family’s lighting business is located in premises to the rear of their house in Bergantino. Riccardo Cuoghi, son of Giorgio, has moved the business forward in recent years by focusing on LEDs, allowing for almost infinite possibilities in illuminated signage and decoration. As well as working directly with customers, Lights Co is also a preferred supplier of lighting systems to Zamperla and the SBF/Visa group, amongst other manufacturers. Particularly charming was the festive display of lights Riccardo had assembled exclusively for guests of the Meeting della Giostra, an event he was also closely involved with the organisation of.

charismatic Romeo Dalla Valle, ticket box and trailer manufacturers Milani and Carpenteria Mechanica di Stefani Vanni, fairground artist Bolcato Gianni and the luxury caravan suppliers Bpark and CMD, whose beautifully- appointed mobile homes can sell for almost the half-a-million euros, but for that you get an interior worthy of 5-star hotel. A mention too for local pyrotechnic specialist Parente which, fresh from its massive display a Expo 2015 in Milan, provided fireworks specially for Meeting della Giostra guests, getting the first night off to a bang before a civic dinner at Bergantino town hall. Park Rides Lamborghini

When was your company founded? Park Rides was founded in 2000 by David Lamborghini, but his father, Alberto Lamborghini, has more than 40 years experience in this sector. Last year we moved into a new factory in Bergantino, giving us more room to manufacturer a wider range of products. We now have a total of 15 workers, three of whom are family members.

What are your top selling products? Our horse carousel (Merry Go Round), Swinger and the Ferris Wheel.

What make you different to the other Italian manufacturers? I believe we have big inventiveness into the continuous designs of new carousels to keep attention at the details that give something special. Every year at the EAS, DEAL and IAAPA trade show we meet customers who ask us for new ride

and it’s important to personalise and theme themto customer’s requests with handmade decoration etc.

What do you believe is the greatest strength of the Italian ride manufacturing industry? The high quality materials used for manufacturing and also the safety devices. This means we are well placed to compete against manufacturers from China, the Czech Republic and Turkey etc.

What are you working on at the moment? We are developing new concepts for family rides where parents can accompany their children, and so share in the beautiful experience and emotion. In 2016 we will make deliveries to Algeria, Spain, Saudi Arabia and many more countries, for amusement parks, indoor parks and travelling showmen.

Eurocasse

Once you learn that “cassa” is the Italian word for cash desk, it’s pretty easy to figure out what this company, founded in 2001, does. Located directly alongside the premises of Park Rides by Lamborghini, Vicenzi Aldo and his two members of staff hand-build both trailer-mounted and dismountable ticket boxes, the latter being his best seller. “Precision, quality and love for my work, make me different to other Italian manufacturers,” claims Aldo. “The orders already in place make me think we will have a prosperous 2016.”
