Sani Resort to reopen in spring following a major redevelopment

A lounge has been added next to the lobby in the Village, along with a couple’s suite in the spa, where the relaxation area has also been expanded. All of the resort’s central swimming pools have been upgraded with heating systems.

15-year-olds. Tennis coaches are also available for tuition. Offers include discounts of up to 20%. These apply to stays at the Sani Beach Hotel, Sani Beach Club or Porto Sani Village between April 9 and May 23, and September 27 and November 1. Bookings for May 24-June 24 and August 28-September 26 qualify for a 10% discount.

Forte Village Resort buoys range of accommodation The Forte Village Resort in Sardinia will open the Hotel Bouganville in May. The accommodation consists of luxury bungalows with garden terraces, which can sleep up to five. The hotel offers access to Forte Village’s renowned sports academies and cycling itineraries. Prices start at £438 a night based on two adults sharing a superior bungalow on a half-board basis.

Elegant appoints Grant as manager at Tamarind Elegant Hotels Group has appointed Adrian Grant as general manager of the Tamarind resort in Barbados. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the hotel industry and has previously worked at the Tamarind and sister properties Turtle Beach and Crystal Cove. Hong Kong property unveils exhibition space An eclectic exhibition space, Art@JPlushk, has opened on the ground floor of J Plus Hotel by YOO in Hong Kong. A series of pop-up art exhibitions will be held in the space throughout 2015 as the hotel showcases local and international artists based in Hong Kong. Zambezi hotel launches transfers by water taxi The Royal Livingstone Hotel, in Livingstone, Zambia, has devised a ‘water retreat experience’ that transfers guests to the five-star property on the Zambezi River by water taxi. The property claims to be the only one in Africa to offer such transfers, which gives guests the chance to view wildlife such as hippos. The Royal Livingstone also features a private entrance to Victoria Falls.
