Inghams pledges that prices in Ski Prev Juliet Dennis
Inghams has held prices at last year’s levels for its Ski Preview 2015-16 brochure. The decision to freeze prices
for next winter follows a rise in the value of the pound and is the result of favourable negotiations with local suppliers. Although the operator has expanded the product range, shorter resort descriptions mean the brochure has fewer pages. Group agency sales manager Simon McIntyre said there were indications that ski holidaymakers wanted to book next year’s
holidays earlier than usual. “Trade feedback tells us that early bookers are seeking their holiday options even further in advance of travel,” he said. Additions for next winter include
the overnight train to the Alps, affording an extra couple of days’ skiing.
The Hotel Edelweiss and Gurgl
in Obergurgl, Austria, is now exclusive to the operator in the UK. Seven nights’ half-board starts at £815 in December 2015, including return flights and transfers.
