Andrew Cutler The Original Poster Company


Greeting cards distributor The Original Poster Company (OPC) has announced a new


addition to its franchise support team in Andrew Cutler, who has joined the team as sales and franchise manager. Andrew fi rst ventured into franchising in 1993 and has held various roles in the industry. Before joining OPC, Andrew was a franchise development consultant for The Franchising Centre. Whilst working with businesses from all types of industries, this role has added a greater insight for Andrew into all aspects of franchising including development and fi nancing from a franchisee’s perspective. Andrew says: “My time spent as both a franchisor and a franchisee has really helped me to understand the franchise relationship, having experienced it from both sides. I know how fi nancially and personally rewarding a well-developed franchise system can be for all parties and it is this that will provide the most satisfaction in my new role.”


Gary Claven No Letting Go


No Letting Go has appointed Gary Claven as its new business development manager as the property


business gears up for further expansion Gary has a strong track record and a wealth of expertise in the franchised property market, developed over 15 years in South Africa as both franchisee and at franchisor head offi ce. Gary said: “It is an exciting time for No Letting Go. The inventory management sector really only started gaining any kind of momentum in the UK during the last seven years and I’m looking forward to further developing and harnessing the potential for further growth.” Nick Lyons, managing director, added: “Gary’s appointment is an important part of our growth strategy and his experience will enable the business and franchisees to benefi t enormously going forward.”


Maria Hartnell Safeclean by Guardsman


Maria joins Safeclean with extensive experience of franchising and management,


having most recently managed a property franchise following several years in the sector. The new appointment comes at an exciting time for Safeclean, who have recently launched a range of additional services to their network including insecticide treatments, hard fl oor expertise and commercial cleaning. Maria commented: “I am looking forward to the new challenge ahead of me; with the new services recently launched, there is a great opportunity to continue to grow the Safeclean network through improved turnover for franchisees, whilst providing additional value to the franchise sales proposition.”
