to push your limits’, the brand’s latest range – tested in the most extreme weather conditions – introduces new garments to each of its four distinct clothing layers. New designs are available across the latest Shell (Gore- Tex), Warm (Insula), Cool (Ventil8) and


Base (SkinTight) layers that are designed to function together to cope with varying weather conditions. New Deep Ocean (men’s) and


Raspberry (ladies’) colourways also feature throughout. The 2014/15 men’s range


incorporates a total of 42 different jackets, pullovers, body warmers, sweaters, shirts, trousers and shorts.

Leading golf industry manufacturers and suppliers to exhibit at The Golf Show 2014

professionals from across Europe, delegates at The Golf Show 2014 will be able to conduct business with more than 60 of the industry’s leading brands throughout the three-day event. Major hardware


manufacturers exhibiting their latest products and taking forward purchase orders for 2015 include Callaway, Cleveland Golf, Cobra Puma, Mizuno, PING, Srixon, TaylorMade, Titleist and Wilson. The Golf Show exhibition will also include apparel brands


Ashworth, Glenmuir, Peter Scott, Peter Millar and ProQuip, as well as footwear specialists FootJoy and eyewear company Oakley. Beyond the major manufacturers, a wide range of additional


products and services from golf carts to GPS devices, ball tracking monitors to batteries, and training aids to trolleys will be exhibited at The Golf Show 2014. John Davis, The Golf Show event manager, said: “Last year, the


event was described by one exhibitor as ‘the essential place to do business in the golf industry’ and we strive each year to ensure that continues to be true. “We extended the exhibition space in 2013 to include all three halls and I’m pleased to say that stand space in 2014 will cover even more ground. “We also have a number of first time exhibitors but, as ever, our


commitment is to quality over quantity, which ensures the experience is more valuable to both attending PGA professionals and other exhibitors.”

Pro irons. Carefully craſted based on direct insights from Nike Golf athletes including Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, Nike’s newest forged blade irons feature Modern Muscle design. Modern Muscle is defined by balanced weighting for perfected precision and power. Nike Golf club engineers kick-started the process for


perfected weighting several years back. By analysing the wear patterns on Woods’ irons – with an impact pattern centered to slightly toe-biased on the club face, but with a natural centre of gravity closer to the heel of the club, Tiger and the club team collaborated and came up with what became a kept secret for several years – the addition of tungsten plugs. Nike Golf Master Modelmaker Mike Taylor added


tungsten plugs to the toe of Woods’ irons, which helped to centralize the centre of gravity and move it away from the heel. The result: precision and improved feel on both centre and off-centre strikes. By bringing Modern Muscle design to the masses,


golfers now can experience the same benefits of a balanced center of gravity as Woods, McIlroy and other Nike Golf athletes on Tour. The Vapor Pro irons will be available from January 31,
