The new Tight Lies will feature Adams Golf’s fiſth generation of its award-winning Slot Technology. The new, patented Ghost Slot Technology is a crown slot that is nearly invisible, and features a refined “barbell” cut-thru slot design, which reduces stress on the face, while creating even faster ball speeds and higher launch than previous slot iterations. All of this comes together to make a classic looking family of woods, with incredible performance and forgiveness for golfers of all levels. While the all-new Tight Lies benefits from many of the same design elements as it predecessor, refined shaping and the added benefit of Ghost Slot Technology will ensure that it appeals to far more golfers than ever before. “It was important that the Tight Lies did not lose it’s identity, with the upside down head shape and tri-sole that make the Tight Lies so unique compared to other fairway woods,” added Honea. Another new addition to the Tight Lies family this time around is the introduction of the Tight Lies Titanium fairway wood, featuring a Titanium face and crown with a stainless steel sole to create the lowest CG ever in an Adams fairway wood. By using titanium construction and the new Ghost Slot Technology, Adams has created a fairway wood that reaches the USGA’s limits on spring-like effect. This will give golfers the playability of the regular Tight Lies, but with the horsepower that will rival any other fairway wood on the market.
