Just before a local club sale, bull sale or stock judging event, send a small quick text message stating who, what, when and where to previous buyers or customers – this will inform those potential buyers what you have to offer. This may also make past purchasers feel special as you have remembered them from a previous purchase! • Email previous customers


If you have no free texts – send an email. Collect previous stock enquirers email addresses. Again mention who, what, why and where and add a picture if possible. The perfect combination is a free text and an email! An important tip when composing emails and sending to many; put the email addresses in the Bcc address bar – this then allows the reader to think they are the only receiver of the email and the others are hidden keeping your email address database private. • Plan ahead!
