Getting a GRIPPP on the golf market
Introducing the Swiss glove specialist with their new GRIPPP glove technology
S
wiss glove specialist Hirzl is set to launch into the UK market with its range of golf
gloves that deliver grip in dry weather and even more grip in the wet. With its focus solely on
providing the best connection between a golfer and their clubs, Hirzl has developed technologies that enable the golfer to swing confidently with the lightest of grips, whatever the weather. Underpinning HIRZL’s glove performance is its GRIPPP technology. Extensively
tanned Kangaroo leather is combined with a 45-degree, pre-curved finger system and a stretch membrane that prevents bunching in the fingers. Matching the
quality of the connection provided by the Hirzl range is its durability. The tanned Kangaroo leather in Hirzl gloves wears very slowly, providing the golfer with value for money. From a retail
perspective, not only can the retailer be confident that they are recommending a product that will deliver real performance benefits in both the wet and dry, they can make assurances on durability and value whilst maintaining an attractive margin. The first gloves that Hirzl will introduce to the UK market are the Hirzl Trust
Control (SRP: £24.99) and the HIRZL Trust Feel (SRP: £24.99). The Trust Control combines GRIPPP technology with a structured leather palm that offers control with the lightest of grips. The Trust Feel offers the same performance benefits as the Control but with a smooth, thinner palm for increased shot feedback as preferred by many lower handicap players.
