IPD/PIE Central & Eastern Europe Real Estate Conference Date: 14th-15th May Location: Vienna Marriott Hotel, Austria

The Central & Eastern Europe Real Estate Conference, organised by IPD and PIE, will focus this year on capital providers and allocators. Typical attendees include: investors, fund and investment managers, asset owners, developers, property bankers and alternative fi nanciers, hedge funds, private equity funds, service providers and advisors. 2013 will also see a new investor panel for conference delegates, followed by a pre-conference Gala Dinner.

Latin American Global Real Estate Institute Date: 23rd-24th May Location: The Westin Colonnade Coral Gables, Miami

The Latin American Global Real Estate Institute will bring together real estate leaders throughout Latin America to discuss the latest opportunities, challenges and trends in the market. Discussions will include: what investors expect for Latin America, whether promises hold or slowdown in Brazil, what’s next for Caribbean hospitality, whether Mexican FIBRAs are just a new product or a revolution and if South America is investor friendly enough.

Cityscape Qatar Date: 27th-29th May Location: Doha Exhibition Centre, Qatar

Cityscape Qatar is dedicated to institutional investors. Typical attendees include: regional and international investors and fi nanciers, developers, architects and urban planners, consultants and representatives from investment and economic agencies and cities. The conference brings together elite professionals to discuss critical business issues through keynote presentations, panel discussions, debates, investment analysis and focused region and real estate streams. Visitors can also attend Investor Round Tables and the Qatar Real Estate Awards.

Luxury Property Showcase Beijing 2013 Date: 31st May – 2nd June Location: Legendale Hotel, Beijing

The Luxury Property Showcase, held in Beijing, will display an array of international luxury properties and developments aimed at the Chinese market. It is an invitation-only event, and typically attracts high-end visitors such as HNWI’s, CEOs, luxury property, yacht or business owners and affl uent expats. Property on off er will include: castles, vineyards, ski resorts and private islands. Seminars will involve: the yachting lifestyle, interior design, investing overseas, eco-friendly homes and those aimed at specifi c markets.

SMART investment and international property expo 2013 Date: 8th-9th June Location: Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre

The SMART investment and international property expo is aimed at wealthy experienced, new and potential investors. Properties globally will be on off er, from condominiums and villas to town houses, resort property and inner-city apartments. Tailored buyer-seminars will focus on improving buyer confi dence, while investor seminars will look at the latest investment opportunities including stocks and funds. Onsite activities also include the millionaire forum, which is targeted at visitors with high liquidity.

Home Buyer and Property Investor Show Date: 1st – 2nd June Location: Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre

The Home Buyer & Property Investor Show, held this time in Brisbane, educates both home buyers and property investors. Visitors can see, compare and buy the latest apartments, new homes, house & land packages, off -plan developments, land estates, home loans, tax advice and more. They can also attend seminars led by property and fi nance experts, with advice on topics such as how to secure fi nance when buying your fi rst home to building a profi table investment portfolio.

Portugal Property Show and Conference Date: 13th-16th June Location: Royal Horticultural Halls, London

The Portugal Property Show, organised by The Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to property for sale in Portugal. Visitors can expect a seminar programme focused on the Portuguese government’s newly- introduced tax, investment and residency schemes, along with information on healthcare, the cost of living and how to buy property in Portugal. They can also attend a conference with key note speakers, a panel discussion and question and answer sessions.
