A taste of Bassnectar
Amorphous Music (2010)
Bassnectar ‘Bass Head’
By far Bassnectar’s most popular track on YouTube and Spotify, ‘Bass Head’ might as well be the theme song of his life tour. Bass heads are also the name of Ashton’s most fervent fans, many of whom actually follow him across the country during festival season.

Bassnectar’s remix of “Lights” by Ellie Goulding was complete before the single crossed over the Atlantic and the pop charts into US contemporary hit radio. The remix itself is so popular that it has made it to the rotation of many alternative rock stations, something practically unheard of for indie dubstep DJs.

Bay area rapper, Zumbi of Zion-I says, “I’m a glitch modulator, sip on the data/ Verb conjugator, plus herb inhalator…/ Mugshot mean like my name Nick Nolte/ Hard day’s night, please don’t insult me…”
