A note from the team A
s we sadly wave goodbye to the summer, we at Waterfront are already excited for the delights September will bring. Tis issue is packed full of exciting profiles, exclusive reviews and fantastic features to keep you entertained as we move into the autumn months.
With the educational calendar kick starting into a new year, we speak to Julie Robinson of Cross Association Leadership who tells us about their training courses which help raise the standard of teaching in independent schools. From providing leadership routes for all aspiring teachers, their courses have received much positive feedback from many highly respected educational bodies. Outside of the classroom, we go Warner Bros. Studio Tour London to the world of Harry Potter. From elves to wizards, all manner of props are on show as this imagination bursting tour creates the perfect place to take the kids (and bigger kids) this autumn. As nights become longer and temperatures undoubtedly get colder, we cater for those wanting to jet away from it all as we visit two luxurious retreats in Dubai. Filled with Middle Eastern charm, the Ritz-Carlton and Jebel Ali resorts are the perfect place to hold on to the summer for just a little bit longer. If you’re just back from your holiday, but don’t want to lose the tan, we caught up with Michelle Mone OBE, who tells us all about her tanning products which are sweeping the nation. She also sheds light on the ideas behind her supportive underwear range, which took her products to Hollywood care of Julia Roberts. For the petrol heads out there, we go off road with the Race2Recovery team as
they enter the world’s toughest endurance race – the world renowned Dakar Rally. Te brave team of injured ex-soldiers will brave the harshest South American conditions to raise money for Help for Heroes and Tedworth House Personal Recovery Centre. We also chat with Global CEO of Rolls Royce, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, as we find out more about the man behind what surely must be the world’s most iconic symbol of luxury motoring. Away from the road, we check out the truly must-see interiors from Clive
Christian. Tese amazing designs really do create a whole new exquisitely themed world within the home. Te issue just wouldn’t be complete without a look at some of the finest houses and apartments for sale across the UK this month. From classic manor houses to modern Mayfair mansions, our Elite Property Portfolio really is not to be missed. We hope you enjoy the issue and have a great September.
