From the Field: Northwest Arkansas Military Officers Group Five members of the Northwest Arkansas Military Officers Group participated in a state-sponsored pro- gram through which they taught flag etiquette to more than 300 area fifth- grade students at six schools in the Fayetteville, Ark., area. The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs spon- sors the program and provides chap- ter members with teaching materials for their classroom visits. According to Cmdr. David Louk, USN-Ret., chapter president, the

program received positive reviews from chapter members, teachers, and students. Members plan to partici- pate in the program again during the 2012-13 school year.
