ergonomic and virtually indestructible triangular shaped fibre tip pen. The Stabilo highlighting range all have a
four-hour cap-off time due to their inks’ anti- dry-out technology. The classic Stabilo Boss Original highlighter comes in nine different fluorescent colours.
PANTS ON FIRE GAMES
Pants On Fire Games has two new games. The Know It Game is a quiz/bluffing game and is more than just a themed trivia quiz – it’s a game in its own right. As well as answering correctly to win the question card, players can try to bluff opponents into believing they know the answer to win two cards. The game comes in four versions, each with two broad themes – 80s/90s, TV/Comedy, Pop/Film and Olympics/World Cups. The Victorian Gamer is a family racing and betting game, which was made to cause heated squabbles in families. There are two key differences from other games in its genre. Firstly, there are three different races, each with its own mechanic; and secondly, players can make bets against each other as well as against the bank. Both were launched at the 2011 UK Games Expo. The
Know It Game won the award for the Best Party Game whilst The Victorian Gamer was a shortlisted finalist in the Best Family Game category. “We were awarded Best Party Game at the 2009 Expo with our first game Liar Liar and to be awarded it again is fantastic,” says creative director Stuart McKenzie Walker. “We were convinced we had excellent products but to have this ringing endorsement from both the public and our peers will hopefully give retailers confidence to stock our games.” 2012 will also see the launch of the Eurobabble game in a
travel tin. “We appreciate that for a lot of people money is tight and so we are actively looking at ways to bring our price points into line with people’s pockets,” says sales director Richard McLuckie. “We think our range offers excellent value for money.”
