How would you describe your golf game? It’s defi nitely better when I’m around these guys (PGA Tour players). I think the competitive juices really kick in and I start to focus a lot more. That’s why it’s always fun to play for a little bragging rights or something to put the competitive edge into it. I wouldn’t say my game is good but I can play and have fun. •••

Any nerves on the fi rst tee? Oh yeah, the nerves are defi nitely there on the fi rst tee. But that’s part of it. I also have nerves every fi rst pitch. •••

How often do you get to play? Before our little girl arrived (Hartley Mae was born in December) I was playing at least a couple of times a week, now it’s once a week. This week is probably the last time I’ll play for a little while. •••

Who is the best golfer on the Giants? I haven’t played with Timmy (Lincecum)

yet, but they say that Timmy is a really good player. It might be him. •••

Who comprises your dream foursome? I would say this foursome might be it. I couldn’t have pictured it any better than with these guys, which was perfect. (Cain played with professional partner and Northern California native Matt Bettencourt alongside the team of John Daly and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo).
