Robert S. Dame, 73, an archi-
tect who later taught at a Mont- gomery County elementary school,diedNov.24athishome in Wheaton. He had complications fromheart surgery. Robert Spencer Dame was
born in Glen Ridge, N.J., and spent much of his childhood in Bethesda. He graduated from an American high school in Mexico City, where his father was sta- tionedwith the Foreign Service. After graduating from Catho-
lic University, Mr. Dame worked for architecture firms before openingaprivatepracticein1965. He designed houses and com-
mercial buildings and remodeled structures,He soldthe practice in 1994. Mr. Dame received a master’s
degree in education from Mary- mount University in Arlington County in 1991 and taught second grade at Fields Road Elementary School inGaithersburg from1994 to 1999. He volunteered with the Na-

Patricia Baker died Saturday,December 4, 2010 in Alexandria, Virginia at the age of 80. She was born April 16, 1930 in Springfield, MA to Oscar and Ethel Stevenson Baker and attended Sacred Heart High School.Upon grad- uating, she went on to work for the Youth Centre on Main St. in Springfield until 1966 when she moved to Virginia. There,Patricia worked for the U.S. Marine Corp Civilian Divi- sion for 34 years,retiring in the late 1990’s. Currently she was employed by the Armed Forces Benefit Association. Patricia leaves her sister,BarbaraLabigalini of Springfield, MA; her nephews,Mark Labigalini and his wife, Maureen of Holyoke,MAand David Labigalini of Vernon, CT;and several
cousins.She was predeceased by aniece,Karen Labigalini in 1973,and by her brother-in-law,John Labigalini in 2009.
