Lawless rink is national Circuit champion

Circuit Spotlight: Kettle Moraine’s Women’s Fall Fling By Elizabeth Demers and Carol Stevenson, USWCA

Te Fall Fling Bon- spiel has sported a Halloween theme for the past several years; in addition to costume contests and a sumptuous banquet, the bonspiel has featured a lively dance party complete with band, local craſt beer, and timeless curling camaraderie. N // IN MEMORIAM Gerald B. Patterson Gerald B. Patterson, 82, New London, Wis., passed away unexpectedly at
his home on Saturday, May 28, 2016. He was born on April 25, 1934, in Aurora, Ill., son of the late Earl and
Gladys (Wilkerson) Patterson. On Feb. 22, 1986, he was united in marriage to Kay Woodliff. Gerry attended grade school in Illinois, Washington and Wisconsin. He graduated from Tri County High School in Plainfield, Wis., in 1953. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. Gerry attended Stevens Point College from 1960 to 1962. He graduated from the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science in 1963 and received his 50-year certificate of licensure from the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association in 2013. He worked for many years at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca until his retirement at which time he began to help out part-time at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Gerry volunteered as an official for many curling events, including the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City.
