Even though the bonspiel was small, the games were all close, the food was delicious, and a great time was had by all. spiels across the United States this past season. Te USWCA Five-and- Under Committee has lined up host clubs in every area again for 2016-17, although most have not yet set the dates for their bonspiels. Te Centerville Curling Club (Wis.) will host the Five-and-Under Open Challenge on Dec. 2-4. Janesville’s Blackhawk Curling Club (Wis.) will host a Women’s Five- and-Under Challenge (date TBA). In West II, the Evergreen Curling Club in Beaverton, Ore., will host the Five-and-Under Open Challenge on March 24-25. In Central, the Detroit Curling Club will host an Open Five-and- Under Challenge (date TBA). Host clubs and dates for USWCA 5 & Under bonspiels in East and West I will be posted soon. Waltham Curling Club to host 2016 USWCA Senior Women’s Bonspiel

Waltham is the oldest curling club in the state of Illinois. Located in the bucolic farmlands of cen- tral Illinois, Waltham Curling Club boasts legend- ary hospitality in addition to its proximity to the charming towns of LaSalle County – Utica, Ot- tawa, and Streator, to name a few.
