Electric Small-Part Speed Gripper
Compact EGP electric small part gripper line has been expanded with a smaller size (model 25) which weighs 110 g and has a stroke of 3 mm per fi nger. An optional speed version of the EGP 25 has been created by reducing the internal gear ratio, which exchanges grip force for speed. DoveLock Jaw DoveLock consists of a master jaw with built-in,
specially designed dovetail quick- clamps, which are designed to precisely hold and lock into position the quick-change machinable jaws. In
the initial setup, each master jaw has two bolts that fasten easily to the stationary movable jaw of any standard 6" (152-mm) Kurt vise or standard Kurt Cluster Tower. Once the master jaw(s) are in place, the machinable jaws locate precisely with the master jaw and quickly lock up using the machinable jaw’s three hex head bolts. Swap out is easily done in 60 sec for job change- overs. The machinable jaws can be rotated 180° and machined on both sides for holding two different parts.
