Robert T. Shannon (JD ’95) received a Jury Verdict Reporter Trial Lawyer Excellence Award, 2014.


Jeffrey Antonelli (BA ’96) was featured on a Chicago Tonight panel discussing drones. Jef- frey is the founder of Antonelli Law, which is concentrated in drone/UAS law, civil litigation, and business advice.


Naderh Elrabadi (BA ’98, MA ’01) a trial at- torney and Cook County arbitrator, was recently appointed by Mayor Rahm Emanuel as a com- missioner for the Cook County Commission on Human Relations. He was named to be on the board of trustees for Queen of Peace Catholic High School in Burbank, Illinois.


Steven L. Wiser (BA ’93, JD ’97) accepted the position of adjunct professor of law at the John Marshall Law School and currently teaches copyright law and practice for the LLM program.


Jeanette Press (BBA ’98) previously a corpo- rate controller, was promoted to vice president and controller at USG Corporation. She leads the corporate and technical accounting groups and has direct oversight of analysis, interpretation, and presentation of financial statements.


Kevin J. O’Shea (JD ’99) was added as a partner to Ice Miller LLP in the intellectual property group. He handles complex patent, trade secret, trademark, and other IP-related litigation matters.


What do you do in your free time?


MARTY • Quite a bit of the time is babysitting our grandchildren. On Thursdays, we go to the local Y in Ir- ving Park where they have free swim. I’m also pretty active with my church, St. Edward, on the Northwest Side.


BOB • We bought a house on a small parcel of land up in Wisconsin a couple of years ago, and we spend a lot of time up there now. I try to read, and I write some, including about Loyola. I’m a lifelong and passionate basketball fan. I have a very strong ap- preciation of what Loyola has meant in our lives and what I think Loyola has meant to the city of Chicago.


John M. Valentine (JD ’01) was promoted to partner at Pircher, Nichols & Meeks. He has been involved in complex real estate transactions throughout the country.


Aaron Reichlin (MD ’02) is currently clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. In 2006, he became a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Reichlin currently owns and operates the Therapeutic Alliance, LLC, and is co-founder of Midwest Integrative Behavioral Health in Chicago.


Lema Khorshid (JD ’04) was appointed to the board of advisors for the Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA).


Robyn C. Axberg (JD ’05) was promoted to partner at Holland & Knight LLP. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurs, and the legal profession.


Michael L. Krashin (JD ’05) was promoted to principal shareholder at Banner & Witcoff Ltd. He practices intellectual property law.


Douglas C. Murray (JD ’05) joined Gould & Ratner LLP as an associate. Murray joined the Business Counseling and Transactional group, focusing on public and private clients in a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.


Timothy R. Nelson (JD ’05) was elected as a member of Aronberg, Goldgehn, Davis & Garmisa. He represents businesses, lenders, and real estate clients.


2000s


David Bohm (LLM ’00) was honored at the 2014 annual meeting of the National Associa- tion of Bar Executives in Boston as a recipient of the Peer Excellence Award. He has served as the assistant executive director of the North Carolina Bar Association since 2008.


Thomas King (MD ’00) is currently the as- sociate medical director of the emergency department at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital seeing over 3,500 patients annually. King is also chairman of ER Quality Committee, co-chair of the Medical Staff Quality Oversight Committee, and the lead physician on implementation of electronic documentation and CPOE in ER.


LaKeisha C. Marsh (JD ’05) was added as a senior attorney to Miller, Canfield PLC. She prac- tices higher education law, litigation manage- ment, and corporate governance.


Jake R. Downing (JD ’06) was promoted to partner at Seyfath Shaw LLP. He practices in em- ployee benefits and executive compensation.


Michael Lee (BBA ’06) joined the board of di- rectors at CAN TV. Michael is currently assistant general counsel at Exelon.


Aseet Patel (JD ’06) was promoted to principal shareholder at Banner & Witcoff, Ltd. He focuses on patent prosecution, counseling, and litiga- tion matters.
