THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE


Loyola set a goal of offering the premier undergraduate student experience in Chicago. To achieve that, the University revitalized the Lake Shore Campus, created a holistic four-year experience for students, invested in athletics, and raised funds for student scholar- ships. These efforts have resulted in increased enrollments, reten- tion, graduation rates, student satisfaction, and focus on mission.


2004 Libraries consolidated 2005 Sullivan Center opens 2007 Center for Experiential Learning launches


2010 First student retreat held at the Retreat and Ecology Campus • The reimagine campaign transforms the student experience


ME FIRST. 2011 The Four-Year Loyola Experience launches


2012 The $80 million Access to Excellence: The Campaign for Scholarships launches


2013 Loyola joins Missouri Valley Conference for athletics


2014 New Wellness Center opens at Water Tower Campus • Men’s volleyball wins the first of back-to-back NCAA championships
