• T e sprayer boom support casting is a weldment-to-casting project, eliminating two weldments with 10 child parts each, as well as two castings, and 16 bolts, nuts and washers.


• T e new casting design realized a 10% price savings and 20% weight reduction while delivering strain reductions of 43-220% and an average 3.9% per-station reduction in assembly time due to increased manufacturability.
