Meditation, Joy & Inner Purpose for Stress-Free Holidays

ne of my favorite things to do as a Publisher is fi nd Cover art. While visiting Highlands, NC, I found an artist and former Florida resident, Corey James. After Hurricane Wilma destroyed his gallery on Las Olas Blvd, he moved to the Western North Carolina mountains. This featured piece is a signed and numbered lithograph entitled, “Angel with Heart On Blue” by famed artist Peter Max. It is one of the many incredible works of art on consignment at the Gallery. Appraised several years ago at over $6,000 (papers included), this piece is now on sale for $3,800. The sale of this piece will help support the owner of this magnifi cent work of art, who being a volunteer at the Methodist church, will soon be living on her own. Corey shares, “To me, art is a window to another realm. It’s a door. And everybody sees something different when they look at it.” In order to share these otherworldly opportunities, he opened his gallery and art consignment shop where he houses works of art he has created, as well as other master pieces including bronze sculptures, wood carvings, lighted onyx pedestals and ceramics.
