was just trying to teach people the trade and there were no suitable courses in the area. Tis is rubbish! Granted butchery classes are not always easy to find but there are always choices in one form or another. Any member having difficulty finding suitable courses can always call us for help in the usual way. Although the apprentice


rate of £3.50 can suit some situations I would not recommend keeping youngsters at this low level for too long if they are any good. It is very demotivating and you risk losing a potential future good employee.


ERRONEOUS TRANSFERS Warning- Do not divulge your electricity or gas meter number to anyone unless you are transferring your supply to a genuine new supplier. Tere is no reason why anyone needs this information for any other reason. Tere are con men


currently putting through false transfers and then claiming commission from the new supplier. If they know the meter number it is very easy to do and it can take several weeks before you discover the scam. It can also take several weeks, and a lot of hassle, for you to transfer back again to your original supplier. For advice on your energy
