Just months ahead of opening, Malaysia's Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) has snapped up a 10 inversion rollercoaster – similar to the one pictured here. The Intamin ride was originally delivered to Hopi Hari in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but never constructed on site. Thanks to a deal brokered by Interlink in the UK, the ride will get a new home at MAPs. Located in the city of Ipoh, the 52-acre park, owned by Sanderson, is slated to open next month, featuring zones dedicated to IPs such as the Smurfs, Casper, Megamind, Peabody & Sherman and BoBoiBoy. It is anticipated the looping coaster will open at a later date.
