Controls are certainly ‘Taking Control’, and the commercial heat- ing and ventilation sectors are not exempt from this growing trend. Building and facilities managers are on a quest to make their buildings as energy efficient as possible and this in turn is fuelling the demand for individual room control because maximum efficiency goes hand in hand with highly effective control. The tricky part in a large commercial building is when you have a

While the unit is currently being developed for the domestic market, it is believe the opportunities for commercial use are endless. The HERU converts household waste into a clean, sustainable fuel source that is used to heat water for the home. It does this using pyrolysis, which is a process of heating materials in the absence of oxygen, resulting in the produc- tion of energy rich combustible gas, liquid and solid fuels. In a scaled up system for commercial use the idea would be to turn office waste into renewable energy.
