Climalife achieves SafeSupplier verifi cation from Alcumus SafeSupplier
C
limalife in the UK has been awarded verifi cation from Alcumus SafeSupplier for
demonstrating its ethical, environmental and fi nancial credentials, to help clients assess compliance within their supply chain. SafeSupplier off ers a robust,
streamlined, consistent and eff ective supplier on-boarding and management solution, that demonstrates supplier compliance to regulatory requirements, international standards and industry best practice in the supply chain. Climalife’s application for SafeSupplier verifi cation was driven by the desire to demonstrate the
highest standards in health and safety, quality, ethical best practices and responsible growth. Gemma Archibald, director of Alcumus SafeSupplier said: “Major organisations simply cannot aff ord to run the risk of employing suppliers who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety, quality, ethical best practice and responsible growth policies in place.” More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Climalife has done.
