PACAIR strengthens team with two new starters
P
almer Air Conditioning (PACAIR) has appointed two seasoned professionals to their team, Matt Kent as regional director Midlands and Craig Webb as
design and contracts co-ordinator (applied products). The company anticipates that the wealth of knowledge these two professionals bring will contribute to it’s continued success in delivering high-quality bespoke air conditioning solutions. With a diverse career that spans Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin, Kent has been involved in various aspects of air conditioning for over 15 years. His expertise encompasses project design, sales and customer management, and a particular focus on sales management. His experience includes roles at Mitsubishi Electric and more recently at Daikin UK, looking after contractor customers. He is looking forward to “getting stuck into the new role and fi rmly put PACAIR on the map in the Midlands”. Webb brings over 12 years of experience in the air
Glenn Price strengthens Fujitsu Applied Team

conditioning sector. His background includes roles with manufacturers handling a range of responsibilities from technical support, training, and commercial management. He has always focused on air-to-water products, mainly domestic.
lenn Price has joined Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK as an Applied Specialist. He will
look to support and develop the company’s off ering across chillers, heat pumps and close control systems. Following an electrical
apprenticeship, Price has since spent more than 13 years in the air conditioning industry, covering installation, breakdowns and maintenance before extending his knowledge base to include chillers, heat pumps and ventilation. He joins Fujitsu from wholesaler TF Solutions where he was most recently a heat pump technical manager, having previously spent time in air conditioning technical support.
Hawco announces new CEO H
awco has named Simon Allan as CEO and a member of the Hawco Executive
board succeeding Martin Butler. Allan will join the business on 2 September and will report to chairman Duncan Wilkes. Butler is stepping down from his existing role and will be leaving Hawco after a 25- year career with the business. Allan and Butler will be managing a handover during September. Allan has held a series of senior management positions in distribution businesses most recently as country manager responsible for the UK & Ireland division of ADI Global. Prior to that he spent 15 years in Heating &

Cooling in Europe with Wolseley, and globally with Armstrong Fluid Technology. Whilst at Wolseley, Allan was also commercial director responsible for the cooling business under the Climate Center brand.

Booton as its Oceania representative, extending the global reach of the business and its patented energy storage solution, EnergiVault. Based in Australia and with 30 years of environmental experience in the distribution, manufacturing and e-commerce industries, Booton will be responsible for developing routes to market and investment opportunities for EnergiVault in Oceania.
