been greater, and neither has the opportunity. In response to this evolving landscape, Daikin UK has unveiled the D-carbonise Partner Status, a major new addition to its Commercial Installer and Partner Programme, designed to reward and support those at the forefront of the low-carbon transition. For commercial installers, standing out in an increasingly sustainability-conscious marketplace is vital. Clients and contractors are placing more value on environmental performance, not just of buildings, but of the supply chains that support them. This is where the D-carbonise Partner Status comes in. It allows installers to formally showcase their green credentials, providing assurance to customers that they’re working with a business committed to both quality and the planet.

The D-carbonise Partner initiative is rooted in action, impact, and meaningful business support. To qualify, companies must demonstrate their commitment by having a verifi ed carbon reduction or net zero plan in place, achieve at least Bronze membership with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, showing tangible social value initiatives. Membership in an industry body such as Refcom Elite, BESA, Quidos F-Gas Premium, or MCS is also required, ensuring all D-carbonise Partners meet a rigorous and trusted standard. Once accredited, installers gain exclusive access to a
wide range of benefi ts designed to help them grow both sustainably and commercially. Chief among these is fi nancial support through Daikin’s Business Development Fund (BDF). D-carbonise Partners can receive funding for green accreditations and support to develop an independently verifi ed Carbon Reduction Plan. Additional BDF perks include 100% funding for Partner With Confi dence services and 50% contributions toward dual-branded charity or sponsorship projects, perfect for boosting social impact alongside commercial visibility. The fi nancial incentives don’t stop there. Partners can also earn £5/kg in BDF contributions for reclaiming R-410A refrigerant, aligning sustainability eff orts with direct business rewards. Certifi ed Installers, D1 Partners, and D1+ Premium Partners can access additional bonuses such as double BDF on VRV R-32 purchases and rewards for sharing annual refrigerant reclaim data. It’s a clear demonstration of how sustainability can drive commercial advantage, rather than hinder it. By championing best practices and advocating for energy-
effi cient technologies and services, the D-carbonise Partners can position themselves as trusted leaders within their fi eld. Increased brand exposure is another vital benefi t of D-carbonise status. Partners gain heightened visibility through case study features, priority placement on Daikin’s installer

locator, and opportunities to connect directly with corporate clients and specifi cation consultants through exclusive Daikin events and seminars. This level of exposure could help partners not only win more work but win the right work, the kind aligned with long-term business goals and environmental responsibility. Importantly, the D-carbonise Partner Status works in tandem with Daikin’s existing partner programme tiers. Whether you’re a Certifi ed Installer, D1 Business Partner, or D1+ Premium Partner, you can also achieve D-carbonise status and stack your benefi ts accordingly. That means combining the credibility and commercial clout of being associated with a globally trusted brand with the prestige and practical advantages of recognised sustainability leadership.
At a time when legislation is tightening, customers are demanding transparency, and the climate crisis is driving real change in construction and HVAC, Daikin’s D-carbonise Partner Programme off ers a compelling roadmap. This is not just about heating and cooling, it’s about partnership, progression, and purpose. For forward-thinking installers looking to cement their reputation, access exclusive support, and lead the transition to a greener built environment, Daikin’s D-carbonise Partner Status is the next step on a journey to long-term success.
