amsung Climate Solutions has appointed Scott Young to lead its expanding
training programme. With over 30 years’ experience as a qualified gas engineer for boiler and controls manufacturers, and 18 of those as a training manager, Mr Young brings practical insights to delivering industry leading training programmes across Samsung’s product offering. Having experience in both
product and industry standard training, such as ACS modules, water regulations and G3 hot water certification courses, Mr Young is well placed to oversee the expansion of Samsung training capabilities, particularly in responding to the increase in online learning.
His experience in transforming learning online will help Samsung shore up its hybrid training proposition for HVAC installers across the country. Mr Young commented: “Since
the COVID 19 pandemic, we have seen the way changes to product training have developed. The pandemic saw an increase in webinar based training so that important lines of communication could be kept open with installers. In a hybrid working world now, e-learning content has a key part to play as it fits around an installers busy work schedule. I am currently creating e-learning modules to help give that flexibility to the Samsung installers, along with other exciting projects to come.”
