Advanced’s new range of super concentrated cleaning gels are now available in the UK. The new range,
known as AdvancedGel offers a ‘mix and go’ approach which could change the face of HVACR cleaning. The new gels offer many benefits for wholesalers, including next day shipping with any courier as well as requiring significantly less shelf space per litre of finished product. Engineers also reap benefits as the compact gels mean far less van space is taken up and their lightweight design makes them easy to carry to site. With highly rated cleaning performance, the gels are a powerful alternative to regular chemical formats. For extra convenience, they can be mixed with either hot or cold water on site. In-depth research and development went into the release of this new range which includes universal coil cleaner and condensate drain unblocker, among others.

Alfalaval
The next-generation ThinkTop V50 and V70 hygienic valve control units now speak the IO-Link language. The new Alfa Laval ThinkTop IO-Link can enhance communication between your hygienic valves and Industry 4.0 automation systems. The point-to-point IO-Link communication protocol connects sensors and actuators to your automation systems. This enables real-time data exchange, improving diagnostics and simplifying configurability and control. Benefit from shorter installation time due to convenient M12 connectors and automatic recording of the hygienic valve stroke duration. Flexibility is enhanced as a result of the capability to change data and process parameters from a remote automation system.
Other notable features include: LEDs with customizable colours and flashing-light ‘wink’ function eases valve identification on the automation system; optimised valve cleaning using a remote programmable logic controller to switch between standard time- based seat lift cleaning and burst seat cleaning; and a pressure shock counter for nearly instant detection of valve movements.

Aermec
Aermec UK, in collaboration with T Clarke Plc building services contractors, are enabling customers to benefit from witness testing equipment by video link. The facility is part of the company’s
on-going environmental strategy to reduce the company’s carbon footprint and deliver tangible savings for customers. The factory is extremely busy with FAT tests regularly taking place. The provision of a video link for customers who do not wish to travel, ensures that the testing of their equipment can still be observed and discussed real-time.
The test screen will be monitored and there will be a live link into the test cell enabling customers to fully participate, view data and discuss any questions as they arise. Video-conferencing also offers greater flexibility and the opportunity for more customers from the same company to engage in the tests without incurring added costs.
