Fulton to showcase all-new steam solution and promote global provider status

ORD DRIVESYSTEMS has committed INR 45 mn (approx. EUR 600,000) to the expansion of its Indian subsidiary. The investment was used to establish a new service area at the NORD DRIVESYSTEMS Pvt. Ltd. facility in Pune. The factory now boasts a 13,000 m² shop floor and can turn out over 24,000 drives per year. Since 2005, the company has delivered more than 100,000 geared motors to customers across the subcontinent. Short delivery times and fast service are among the most important measures to keep regional customers satisfied. Staffed with a team of experienced, highly trained technicians, the new, expanded service area is crucial to ensure this for the future. In addition, NORD has launched an initiative for service vehicles: they serve customers on location, quickly provide qualified customer service, and are even equipped to offer training.

Fulton’s SRT Series challenges the traditional heat transfer and mechanical design principles of vertical steam boilers. The SRT boasts industry- leading performance with an 84.5% Gross (93.5% Net) thermal efficiency from a fully- water-backed design with no refractory.
“With 30+ worldwide patents pending, the boiler’s spiral-rib tubeless design is a world first and creates a compact boiler with the industry’s smallest footprint. 40% smaller compared to our equivalent 30hp models.” Says Carl Knight, Fulton MD. “It is the most radical change to vertical steam boiler design since the company pioneered the vertical tubeless boiler in 1949”
Using in-house modelling with CFD and finite element analysis, the SRT’s ‘PURE Optimised’ architecture makes it durable and reliable, with up to 6:1 turndown through its fully-modulating burner.
