Real time data-including mass flow, volumetric flow, pressure, temperature, selected gas calibration, setpoint, and totalised flow of gases-can be read centrally by the PLC and used to manage Alicat controllers and meters. Users may change setpoint or gas selection, and issue other commands to Alicat instruments using a DeviceNet or EtherNet/IP enabled PLC or computer.

Lifetime Warranty Scheme which was introduced several years ago. This cover, which is included as standard, not only provides an extensive guarantee but also includes service visits from Union’s highly trained technicians as required. In common with the other doors in the range, the Bulldoor also features Union’s highly-regarded ‘Crash-Out’ and ‘Auto-Reset’ damage protection facility which ensures the door remains operable if the heavy duty steel composite bottom beam is hit by a vehicle. The confectionery manufacturer, which was established in 1928, required the doors to help maintain its exacting hygiene standards by acting as a pest control measure when the doors are in operation.

Standing at 2.8m wide x 3.7m high and 2.8m wide x 3.0m high, the Bulldoors, which feature a Swizzels logo on the blades, are activated by radio control systems that are mounted onto the company’s forklift trucks.
