Alphaliner1800 The new pipe liner dimension for the renovation of large and special profiles
Sewer networks, up to approx. 20% consist of large profiles. The sizes and geometries of these sewers – circular, egg-shaped, arched and special profiles – lead to particularly challenging renovation works. The Alphaliner1800 was specially developed for the renovation of large profiles. The „Ultrapipe“ ECR glass-fibre material, specially adjusted for UV light curing, is used in manufacturing. This increases the transparency of the material and the curing of the pipe liner is thus also optimised. The use of liners with combination curing, which must be kept constantly refrigerated, is thus only necessary in exceptional cases. As a result, the logistics are significantly easier, more flexible and more cost effective for large wall thicknesses.
Alphaliner1800 allows for the renovation of large sewers with high mechanical properties and low wall thicknesses – safe, reliable, efficient.
Alphaliner1800
Alphaliner1800 is a latest generation glass-fibre reinforced plastic pipe liner, ideal for the renovation of sewers with large dimensions and high nominal values:
• Efficient in installation and curing thanks to low wall thicknesses
• Economical thanks to simplified logistics (in comparison with combination curing)
• Resistant to abrasive conditions thanks to a unique wear protection layer
• Long-lasting thanks to the highest mechanical properties
• Reliable and safe thanks to TQM – Total Quality Management.
Alphaliner1800: the new product concept for the renovation of large and special profiles
For large profiles in particular, Alphaliner1800 offers the foundation for safe installation with maximum risk minimisation. Alphaliner1800 is available in the following product variants for the renovation of the entire sewer network:
Alphaliner1800UP: for municipal sewers Alphaliner1800HP: for municipal sewers in ground water protection areas Alphaliner1800VE: for industrial sewers
Alphaliner1800VEU: for sewers with very aggressive industrial waste water

technical properties. A liner pipe which is extremely durable and resistant to even extreme static and dynamic factors is formed from a special glass-fibre material in combination with high-quality impregnation resins. The short-term elastic modulus is 16304 MPa; long-term elastic modulus 12445 MPa.
Defined wear protection layer
The defined, fleece-bonded wear protection layer on the inner surface of the Alphaliner1800 offers protection against the enormous abrasive wear in large profiles (in compliance with DWA-A 143-3 and DIN EN ISO 11296-4). The resin- impregnated inner layer is 0.5 millimetres thick. It results in a particularly smooth and resistant interior surface for the Alphaliner and ensures outstanding abrasion resistance. As a result, it forms the basis for a service life of at least 50 years for the renovated sewer.
Total Quality Management System – TQM
The Total Quality Management, which is unique in the industry, ensures the continuous quality from production through to installation on site. All relevant production data and material testing results from the on-site samples are recorded in a database which was specifically set up for this purpose. The results are used for the constant, sustainable optimisation of liner production and installation on site.
