Temporary works tool gets a fourth
upgrade from Groundforce Shorco YourSolution, Groundforce Shorco's interactive design tool, upgrades to 1.4.
Just over two years after itwas first launched, the interactive design tool for temporaryworks launched by Groundforce Shorco has received its fourth upgrade.
In YourSolution v1.4 fromthe excavation support specialist, sheet and frame designs up to 4mdeep are nowavailable.
This is in addition to the advanced groundwatermanagement option in YourSolution v1.3,which helps customers include information for all standard design solutionswhere groundwater is present
within an excavation.
Access to the system, used by all Groundforce Shorco's key customers, is available 24/7 onmobile devices and desktops directly fromthe Groundforce website,making it ideal for out-of-hours emergencyworks.
Developed by Groundforce's technical, sales andmarketing teams, the user-friendly programme provides customerswith a simple step-by-step process to obtain fully documented temporaryworks designs in
linewith the requirements of BS 5975.

Powerline help further prolong lifetime of proven Landia Pumps
Banbury-based Powerline Electric Motors has completed the refurbishment of its latest batch of Landia slurry pumps, including one unit that has been in operation for almost 25 years.
With its ongoing investment in new equipment and growing number of apprentices, Powerline has seen a significant increase in demand for its repair services, which not only help prolong the lifetime of pumps, but also improve efficiencies.
Landia’s Paul Davies, commented:” Althoughwe have our own nationwide service team, Powerline’s skill in overhauling pumps is first-class.We are pleased to see our equipment continue to provide excellent, long-term service.”

Landia and Powerline also bothwork closely with Shipston-on-Stour-basedMidland Slurry Systems, who specialise in the supply and maintenance of industrial and agricultural wastewater treatment installations and animal slurry management.
