The National Drainage Show is delighted to be sponsoring the National Drainage Awards 2024 as wine sponsor
The National Drainage Show (NDS) is now gaining some real traction, withmore interest than ever, which includes companies booking early and some interesting new exhibitors to add to themix. We really appreciate the valuable support of the NADC and Drain Tradermagazine and are constantly looking for ways tomake the event better.
UKSTT Central To Trenchless Zone
One important addition that had been requested, was a dedicated area for trenchless technology. So, we created a Trenchless Technology Zone and, at the centre of that is the UKSTT. Two of the companies already signed up for that area is ProKASRO and Bluelight Lining.
We are delighted to welcome theWater Jetting Association (WJA) for the first time, who will be supporting the show and have a presence, with a stand on the floor, near two other newcomers to the show, Amiblu and Bluelight Lining.
Some interesting partnerships have been set up recently, although only connected by the co-located events, a few do impact on the drainage side.
The National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) will be presenting either their new recommendations, or an update on what the government has done since their last report. In the 2022 report the NIC recommended stricter controls on new property developments. They said that nearly £12bn of investment in drainage infrastructure over the next thirty years will be necessary to stop thousandsmore homes and businesses fromflooding, due to inadequate drainage. Hopefully, the new report will be available, by the time the show comes around and willmake for an interesting presentation.
The Canal & River Trust (CRT) is one of these new partners, which given the amount of property theymanage and develop, will be of interest to anyone planning , designing, installing ormaintaining drainage & waste water systems.

champions sympathetic yet contemporary waterside development, involving both residential and commercial schemes. The income they generate fromthis goes straight to helpmaintain the historic waterways, enhance local environments and reinvigorate the canal and river network.*
Today they are involved in over £11 billion of waterside regeneration projects nationwide, reinvesting the profits from these schemes to help fund the waterways for future generations.
The CRT is amajor land owner with a unique portfolio of land and property throughout the UK, worth over £500million. Their team undertake land assembly and prepare their otherwise redundant property for regeneration by progressing it through the planning process.
National Drainage Show Sits Perfectly Between two Other Events
There is a lotmore to come for the National Drainage Show, which has the added bonus of being sandwiched between the Homes UK show and Futurescape, the commercial landscaping event, both of which will attract their fair show of developers, planners contractors and local authorities, who will then be welcomed to come into our event, if interested.
