STC INSISO secures contracts to provide risk and assurance software to water utilities in England


Aberdeen-headquartered, STC INSISO has announced two significant software agreements with water utilities covering SouthWest England, theMidlands and Wales.


Severn TrentWater has signed an 18- month SaaS (software as a service) contract to use STC INSISO’s audit and investigation tool, COMET Investigate, and this could potentially be extended to a three-year deal. Meanwhile SouthWest Water, has renewed its contract for the product, with both deals totalling over £70k.


SouthWestWater, and parent company Pennon Group, have been COMET customers for several years. STC INSISO created content for the company’s HomeSafe programme previously, which was designed to improve safety performance through the delivery of e- learningmodules. The latest contract renewal will involve SouthWestWater


committing to a revised‘purchase and support’agreement.


Steve Holmes, Chief Operating Officer at STC INSISO, said: “Supporting the UK water sector through two of the largest suppliers is a real positive for STC INSISO. Growing our presence in the water and the broader utilities sector is a strategic goal of ours, so we are delighted that SouthWestWater has extended its contract for our COMET Investigate software, and that we’re now supporting Severn Trent too, following a successful pilot of COMET late last year.
