CARL WEINER BECOMES CAI’S NEWEST CCAL FELLOW Carl N. Weiner, Esq., CCAL was installed as one of nine new fellows of CAI’s presgious College of Community Associaon Lawyers (CCAL) during the CAI Law Seminar held in New Orleans, Lousiana in January 2016. Mr. Weiner is one of only 149 aorneys, naonwide, to be recognized with admission to CCAL.


Established in 1993 by the CAI Board of Trustees, CCAL provides a forum for the


exchange of informaon among experienced legal professionals working in the community associaon eld. Its goals include promong high standards of professional and ethical responsibility, improving and advancing community associaon law and pracce, and facilitang the development of educaonal materials and programming pertaining to legal issues.


CCAL members also are acvely involved in state and federal legislave acvies and prepare amicus curiae (friend-of-the-court) briefs on crical judicial cases that aect common-interest communies.


Mr. Weiner is Co-Chair of the Real Estate Group at Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin, PC. A previous president of the Pennsylvania & Delaware Valley Chapter of Community Associaons Instute, Mr. Weiner has also served as chairman of the Pennsylvania Legislave Acon Commiee, and was honored with CAI’s Robert H. Wise President’s Award in 2005. Presently, Carl serves as chairman of CAI’s Government and Professional Aairs Commiee. Congratulaons, Carl!

ANNIVERSARY AND NEW PRESIDENT CAI Management Company member Benjamin Cobrin & Co. is celebrang its one hundredth year of providing property management services in the greater Philadelphia area. They announced earlier this year that Jerey Krimstock, CMCA has been named its newest President, the fourth in company history. Kevin McGrath, PCAM is remaining acvely involved, assuming the tle of Execuve Vice President. McGrath plans to connue managing properes and focusing on business development while Krimstock will focus on day-to-day operaons at the company while also managing his porolio of properes.
