Over the years, the format became more streamlined, began gaining in popularity and started establishing a faithful fan-base, spanning the distance from Massachusetts, Florida to as far as Australia and Poland. What started as a few friends sitting around drinking and discussing the latest news about their nerdy interests, transformed into a passion project that none of them expected. Since 2011 The Escape Pod Podcast has produced over 114 episodes, a YouTube channel hosting video movie reviews, and a website
www.btsescapepod.com.
Having recently upgraded their recording equipment for better sound quality, the trio is continually striving to improve the quality of the show, as well as build and strengthen their fan-base community. They hope that 2014 will bring even larger opportunities for the show,
including video production and merchandising. The future holds no limits for this up and coming podcast brand and the vision for the future is a grandiose one. Soon the trio will be traveling to conventions around the New England Area to promote and gain listenership.
Trying to produce these casts is no easy feat, as it has considerable cost for all equipment and storage. The crew have recently started an Indie Go Go, for crowd source funding that will no doubt go towards promoting and expanding the available content for all things funny and geek related.
