For harbour porpoise connectivity is considered possible between the proposed project and any Natura 2000 site within the North Sea Inter Agency Marine Mammal Working Group (IAMMWG) management unit (IAMMWG 2013), where the species is considered as a grade A, B or C feature4. The extent of the North Sea management unit has been agreed during consultation with Natural England, as the most appropriate population which any harbour porpoise occurring within the East Anglia THREE site may be part of. This high level HRA screening therefore screens out from consideration all Natura 2000 sites outwith this management unit boundary.
