Diagram 1 Indicative cable trenching arrangement and working width/area
Note: Of the 55m total Preferred Onshore Cable Corridor, the 11m required for topsoil bund and 9m required for subsoil bund would not be topsoil stripped, and would not be subject to archaeological mitigation. The remaining 35m required for East Anglia ONE cables, haul road, and ducting for future projects would be subject to topsoil stripping. This WSI addresses archaeological impacts, through pre-commencement assessments and mitigation, and construction-phase assessment and mitigation for groundworks within the 35m working width and also HDD, and CCS areas.
