SPECIAL AREA – DIGITAL 3D-SURFACES


Modern digital printers print ‘surfaces’ that are not only tactile, three- dimensional and, where desired, very durable, but also in high formats, at cost-effective print speeds and to the highest quality. The Digital 3-D Surfaces special area at interzum 2017 demonstrates the steps in the process. From the initial idea to a fi nal data set, from the choice of printer and ink, right through to a complete solution from one source. The special event in Hall 10.2 puts the focus on digital/additive manufacturing – promoting creativity, shorter reaction times and design fl exibility in the home and furnishing sectors. Leading industry experts will offer expertise and insights into technologies, software and services.


GREEN AWARD


As the leading international fair for suppliers to the furniture industry, interzum is an ideal platform for innovations. At this year’s interzum show the Green Product Awards


will


reward new developments under the theme of Sustainability. ‘How do we live tomorrow?’ is the overall headline for a selection of innovative sustainable products and prototypes that will be on show at the exhibition. The Green Product Award is an annual international competition for


sustainable products and


services. Participants range from students to international brands. The submissions are awarded in 14 categories including Furniture and Home Accessories. The awards stand will be located in Koelnmesse’s hall 4.2 in the Innovation of Interior area.
