Would you like to experience working in a unique, remote and rural location in the UK?
The Clinical Laboratory Service of the Western Isles NHS Board is seeking an experienced Quality Manager who would like to join our small, friendly and dynamic team. You will be based in Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, where you will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the laboratory quality management system so as to comply with the requirements of MHRA and UKAS.
The post holder will also be required to work in the blood sciences laboratory and participate in the blood sciences and blood transfusion on-call rota when competent to do so.
Applications will be considered at Band 6 to allow progression to Band 7 within 12-24 months in line with Annex U section 2.2 of the terms and conditions of employment.
