Rock’N River Water Park


Typhoon Texas Formerly known as Hawaiian Falls, Typhoon


Texas in Pflugerville has been amped up with new attractions like the Gully Washer, a playground with seven slides, 100 spray areas and an 800-gallon bucket that periodically dumps its contents onto the play area. An interactive splash play pad is perfect for families with young children who’d rather stay away from the twisting slides. Volente Beach Water Park Now under new ownership, Volente Beach


on Lake Travis has spruced up its small but beloved attractions, including the Pirate Ship and Gator’s Crossing, and has been beautified with new landscaping, a beach area and short-term rental units next door. It has also incorporated live-music performances within the water park, and it’s starting Adult Nights (pools and slides just for adults) for when the kids pass out at the end of a fun-filled day. Barton Springs Pool Barton Springs Conservancy throws an old-fashioned birthday party for Austin’s favorite pool. The party starts with a parade (meet at the south entrance) and ends with a celebratory dip in the springs.
