The ‘No-Dig Technical Guide’ guide from PE100+ covers
trenchless
installation and rehabilitation of water and gas pipelines
“To confirm the performance of the system, we
carried out additional product evaluation, testing and jointing trials, as well as on-site training and technical support.”
Earlier, the company supplied both gas and water
pipe for a project in Nenagh, in the north of the country. Access to gas will end Nenagh’s reliance on coal and oil, while the water pipe will replace an ageing supply network. The project involves 25km of ProFuse peelable pipe (400mm), and 4km of PE100 water pipe – ranging in size from 90 to 225mm. The project is due for completion in mid-2017. The new natural gas pipeline is likely to save up to 60% in energy costs for local residents and businesses, says the company.
