Premix is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electrically conductive plastics. In 2007, it acquired two joint ventures in China: Yangzhong Opta Chemical produces non-halogen fl ame-retardant cable compounds, and Nanjing Jinling Opta Polymer produces PP/EPDM and TPE-based polymers. Premix is currently commissioning a new state-of-the-art line at its Rajamäki plant.


Product line: Premix offers a comprehensive range of Pre-Elec electrically conductive compounds and Pre-Elec ESD static dissipative compounds. They include elastomer-modifi ed, fl ame-retardant, mineral-fi lled, glass-fi lled, metal-fi lled, black, white and antistatic compounds and masterbatches. They are used in ESD, ATEX and metal-replacement applications in the automotive, chemical, electronics, medical, mining and other industries.


Product strengths: Premix has extensive experience in carbon black dispersion and polymer modifi cation combined with strong product development know-how. It works closely with customers to create innovative and reliable products.
