Compounding World Forum: the exhibition preview
The fi rst Compounding World Forum, which takes place in Philadelphia, PA, USA on 10-11 December, will feature a large and diverse range of exhibitors in addition to its comprehensive conference programme. The event is organised by Compounding World maga- zine in conjunction with AMI, and it is sponsored by ExxonMobil/Vistamaxx, ICMA San Giorgio, NFM Welding Engineers, Roscom and Pelletron. The conference programme features 21
presentations selected by Com- pounding World’s editorial team. They cover key strategic issues and technology developments including: global market trends; clean com- pounding for medical applications; metal replacement; conductive compounds; anti-counterfeiting technologies; antimicrobials; fl ame retardants; improving sustainability; advanced reinforcements and fi llers; plus getting the most from twin-screw extruders. We published two detailed previews
of the conference presentations in our August and September editions. You can read them here: Day One and Day Two. So far, more than 30 companies

the event’s exhibition area. This will be used for refreshment breaks and the drinks reception between and after the conference sessions. It will provide excellent networking opportunities and will be one of the biggest gatherings of compounding industry suppliers in the USA before the next NPE in 2015. compounding equipment including twin-screw extruders, kneaders, mixers, pelletizers, materials handling equipment, packaging technologies and replacement wear parts. On the additives front, the exhibition will include suppliers of stabilizers, fl ame retardants, pigments, plasticiz- ers, functional fi llers, and thermally conductive materials. Plus there will be several leading compounders, specialising in areas such as fl ame retardant compounds, additive masterbatches, and PVC compounds. The following pages feature
