2013 Continued K coverage

Following our extensive previews of the K 2013 exhibition in the September and October issues of Compounding World, we are continuing our coverage of the Düsseldorf show in our November and December issues. This month we are focusing on the business news announcements that were made at the event, while next month we will round up the important new product announcements that were made after we published our previews. You can still read our 10-page machinery preview at http://bit.ly/KMach, while our 14-page materials preview is in two parts at http://bit.ly/Kmats and http://bit.ly/Kmats2. We had a very successful and enjoyable show ourselves,

visiting countless companies and attending numerous press conferences, receptions, parties and awards ceremonies over the eight days. We reported on the K 2013 news as it happened using our @PlasticsWorld Twitter feed which has close to 6,000 followers.

Many thanks to the thousands of people who registered for

new subscriptions at our magazines stand in the North Entrance, and welcome on board if you are one of those new readers! Thanks also to all those existing readers who dropped by our booth to say hello and give us feedback about our maga- zines, which was overwhelmingly positive. Our AMI Publications stand in Hall 7 was also a hive of activity, selling more technical books, market reports and directories than at any previous K show. Thanks to all those existing and new customers who paid us a visit. ❙ www.amiplastics.com
