This could be a targeted campaign promoting a specific product, or it could simply be increasing your engagement and activity on your social media platforms. The most common social media platforms used in business are; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and Google+, however a crucial part of social media marketing is carefully selecting the right platforms for your business.

Outbound marketing could be print, TV advertisements, newspaper advertisements, anything your business does to send out a message.
